Braulio continues his lesson on proactively blocking any attempts your opponent might make to regain their guard while you are in side control. If they try to push your foot between their legs with their hand and you block this by inserting your knee between their legs, their arm will be extended allowing you to pin it with your shin. With this control, Braulio shows how to transition to the north south. From there, he establishes a kimura grip and demonstrates two submissions, a kimura and a wrist lock.
